Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on mergers, acquisitions, and other significant business transactions within the healthcare sector.
  • Draft and negotiate transactional documents, including purchase agreements, merger agreements, and ancillary documents.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence and review of transaction-related documents and contracts.
  • Provide strategic counsel on healthcare regulatory matters and compliance issues related to mergers and acquisitions.
  • Collaborate with clients, other attorneys, and professionals to develop and implement effective transaction strategies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging issues in healthcare M&A.
  • Manage multiple transactions simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines and client expectations are met.
  • Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and support staff as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of law firm experience in mergers and acquisitions and significant business transactions.
  • Experience in healthcare services and healthcare technology transactions is highly preferred.
  • Active, in-good-standing State Bar license.
  • Excellent academic credentials and transactional skills.
  • Proven track record of responsiveness and high-quality client service.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active State Bar license in good standing.

Skills:

  • Exceptional writing and drafting skills with high attention to detail.
  • Strong client relationship management and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex transactions and provide strategic legal advice.
