Labor and Employment Associate Attorney

A law firm in Bridgeport, WV, is seeking a Labor and Employment Associate Attorney. The attorney will be responsible for providing legal counsel and representation to clients in labor and employment matters. They should have labor and employment experience commensurate with time in practice, strong writing and analytical skills, and excellent academic credentials. A license to practice in WV is required.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in labor and employment matters
• Conduct legal research
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Participate in client meetings and negotiations
• Assist with discovery and document production
• Prepare for and attend hearings, mediations, and arbitrations
• Stay updated on relevant labor and employment laws and regulations

Requirements:

• License to practice law in West Virginia
• 1-3 years of labor and employment experience
