Job Overview: A law firm in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a skilled Immigration Attorney to join their team of experienced immigration professionals. The ideal candidate will have expertise in preparing and filing a range of immigration applications, including green cards and non-immigrant visas. This role involves advising companies on immigration strategies, ensuring compliance with immigration laws, and suggesting improvements to enhance clients' immigration processes.

Duties:

  • Prepare and file all types of green card applications, including PERMs, I-140s (including Schedule A), NVC, and I-485s.
  • Prepare and file common business non-immigrant visas (NIVs) such as H-1B, L-1, TN, etc.
  • Advise companies, including human resources and senior management, on immigration options and strategies.
  • Monitor and ensure corporate compliance with immigration laws and regulations.
  • Suggest and implement improvements to clients' immigration strategies to optimize outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with a team of experienced immigration attorneys and paralegals.
  • Provide guidance and support throughout the immigration process, addressing client inquiries and concerns.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in preparing and filing green card applications and business NIVs.
  • Strong background in advising companies on immigration strategy and compliance.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and clients.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and strong organizational skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar in good standing.

Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of immigration laws and procedures.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to handle complex legal matters and provide strategic advice.
