Job Overview: A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney with 3-6 years of experience in civil litigation, particularly in state and federal courts. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written and the ability to manage complex legal matters independently while fostering positive relationships with clients and colleagues.

Job Duties:

  • Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce high-quality legal deliverables, answer phone calls, and respond to correspondence promptly.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and well-researched work product to meet deadlines and client expectations.
  • Conducted and defended depositions, managed a case docket, and appeared in court as required.
  • Engage in both physical and sedentary activities, including computer work, virtual conferences, and meetings.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices, including ethical standards and confidentiality requirements.
  • Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
  • 3-6 years of civil litigation experience in state and federal courts.
  • Preferred experience conducting and defending depositions, managing a case docket, and courtroom appearances.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Background in finance or accounting is advantageous.
