Job Overview:

Duties:

• Legal Expertise:

  • Draft and respond to Requests for Orders (RFOs).
  • Represent clients during law and motion hearings.

• Discovery Proficiency:

  • Develop and execute discovery plans in collaboration with legal partners.
  • Propound discovery requests and manage evidence evaluation.
  • Conduct and defend depositions, draft discovery-related motions, and review relevant materials.

• Case Management Efficiency:

  • Identify and analyze key legal issues in complex family law cases.
  • Utilize case management software to ensure smooth workflow and effective case tracking.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials.
  • Work with experts to develop strong case strategies and outcomes.

Requirements:

• Active California Bar License.
• Minimum 4-6 years of litigation experience, preferably in family law.
• Proven ability to thrive in a remote work environment while managing cases autonomously.
• Willingness to travel to client meetings and court appearances within the Bay Area as needed.
• Familiarity with family law procedures and litigation techniques.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
