Duties

  • Work on a variety of structured finance, securitization, and asset-based lending transactions.

  • Draft and review legal documents, including transaction agreements, credit facilities, and securitization structures.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and offer recommendations based on findings.
  • Participate in client meetings and contribute to business development efforts.
  • Manage aspects of case files and maintain organizational systems for multiple projects.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to address client needs and complex legal challenges.
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in structured finance, securitization, or asset-based lending.
  • Experience at a prominent law firm is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle complex legal and financial concepts and distill them into actionable advice.
  • Excellent organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proven ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
  • High level of professionalism and strong communication skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in California.
