A law firm seeks an experienced Senior Immigration Attorney to join its Immigration business unit in Frisco, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment-based immigration, with expertise in handling matters such as H-1Bs, L-1s, PERMs, I-140s, AOS, and O-1 visas. The role involves working on various immigration matters, providing direct client advisement, and preparing petitions and applications for submission to government agencies. Strong research, advocacy, writing skills, and attention to detail are essential, along with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Duties:

  • Advise clients on a variety of immigration matters, particularly employment-based immigration processes.
  • Prepare and submit petitions and applications to the relevant government authorities.
  • Manage multiple client cases concurrently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Conduct thorough research and provide strategic guidance on immigration issues.
  • Maintain a high level of client satisfaction through clear communication and diligent case management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and assist junior attorneys or paralegals as necessary.
  • Monitor and stay updated on changes in immigration laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6-7 years of experience in immigration law, with a focus on employment-based immigration.
  • Proven experience with H-1B, L-1, PERM, I-140, AOS, and O-1 visa processes.
  • Ability to handle complex immigration matters with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Direct client interaction experience and a client-centric approach.
  • Strong advocacy, writing, and research skills.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Licensed to practice law in good standing.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
