Duties:

• Manage and litigate complex insurance coverage disputes in both state and federal courts.
• Draft legal pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Take depositions and represent clients during motion practice.
• Maintain and cultivate relationships with clients, providing strategic legal guidance on insurance coverage matters.
• Collaborate with colleagues in a team-oriented environment, contributing to the growth and success of the firm.
• Manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and client expectations.
• Travel as needed for litigation matters, with a focus on cases that may require national representation.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of litigation experience, with a focus on insurance coverage disputes or related areas.
• Proven track record in drafting pleadings, taking depositions, and handling motion practice.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and strategically.
• High level of personal responsibility, integrity, and a commitment to client service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
• Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple matters efficiently.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment while also independently managing cases.
• Experience in insurance coverage or construction litigation is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to practice law in the state of Connecticut (additional State Bar admissions are a plus).
