A law firm in Cincinnati is seeking a skilled Mid-level Financial Services Litigation Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will possess excellent academic credentials, extensive experience in preparing for and participating in FINRA arbitrations and securities regulation matters, and exceptional research and writing skills. Duties:

  • Prepare for and participate in FINRA arbitrations and securities regulation matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to financial services litigation.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Assist with discovery, including document review and analysis.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal stakeholders.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, arbitrations, and other proceedings.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and management.
  • Stay updated on developments in financial services law and regulations.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior associates and legal staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in financial services litigation.
  • Excellent academic credentials from a reputable law school.
  • Experience with FINRA arbitrations and securities regulation matters.
  • Exceptional research and writing skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.

  • Extensive knowledge of financial services law and regulations.
  • Strong advocacy and negotiation skills.
