A law firm located in New York City, NY, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced CLO Finance Associate Attorney to join its structured finance team. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of relevant experience and a strong background in CLO and related transactions. This role involves providing legal support for a wide range of complex financial transactions, including securitizations, warehouse financing, and other related financial matters.

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and support to the structured finance team on CLO transactions.
  • Analyze and draft legal documents and agreements related to CLO transactions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Conduct due diligence on CLO portfolios and related assets.
  • Assist in negotiating and structuring CLO and securitization deals.
  • Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams to facilitate successful transactions.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in relevant financial regulations and market trends.
  • Handle any legal disputes or issues that may arise during CLO transactions.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in structured finance, with a focus on CLO and related transactions.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the New York Bar.
  • Strong knowledge of CLO structures, securitizations, and warehouse financing.
  • Excellent understanding of financial and regulatory issues related to CLO transactions.
  • Exceptional research and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York Bar.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • Certified in Securities Regulation (CSR) or a related certification.
