Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Litigation Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of commercial litigation experience, preferably focusing on general litigation, food industry matters, or employment law. Duties:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of litigation matters, including regulatory compliance disputes, licensing issues, contractual disputes, and intellectual property litigation.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Prepare for and attend court appearances, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
  • Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Provide strategic legal counsel to clients on potential litigation risks and opportunities.
  • Assist with business development activities, including client outreach, marketing, and networking events.
  • Stay up-to-date on developments in relevant areas of law, particularly cannabis law, and proactively identify opportunities for professional growth and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the MA or CO state bar and in good standing with the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Minimum of two years of litigation experience, preferably with exposure to commercial, food industry, or employment law.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent oral advocacy and courtroom presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong commitment to professionalism, integrity, and client service excellence.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience in business development and maintaining client relationships is a plus.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
