Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate with 1 to 4 years of experience to join its Commercial Trial and Financial Services Litigation group. This role involves defending and litigating complex commercial matters, including business-related litigation, product liability, securities disputes, and regulatory matters. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and writing skills, as well as the ability to take on substantive roles in court hearings, depositions, and trials.

Location:

Duties:

  • Handle a wide range of litigation matters, including complex commercial disputes, product liability cases, and securities litigation.
  • Defend clients in regulatory matters involving agencies such as the SEC, FINRA, DOJ, and state regulatory departments.
  • Represent clients in federal and state courts and arbitration forums nationwide.
  • Engage in client-facing interactions, managing hearings, depositions, and trial preparation.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare legal memoranda.
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys to develop and execute litigation strategies.

Requirements:

  • 1 to 4 years of litigation experience.
  • Strong academic credentials and a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to take on leading roles in cases, including attendance at hearings, depositions, and trials.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Bar admission in good standing or the ability to become licensed in Nebraska.

Skills:
