A law firm seeks a skilled Litigation Associate to join its prestigious New York office. Duties:

  • Represent clients in complex civil litigation and white-collar criminal investigations.
  • Manage all aspects of litigation, from case development to settlement negotiations and trial preparation.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Participate in depositions, hearings, and trials, as well as assist in strategy development.
  • Work with internal teams and clients to manage case flow and ensure timely resolution.
  • Advise clients on legal risks, strategies, and compliance issues in highly regulated industries.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop litigation strategies.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in civil litigation and/or white-collar investigations.
  • Top-tier law firm experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex litigation and investigations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Must be admitted to the New York Bar or eligible for admission.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Strong academic credentials from a top-tier law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the New York State Bar or eligibility for admission.
