Job Title: Associate Attorney

Duties:

  • Handle a diverse caseload with a focus on complex litigation
  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in various matters
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and execution
  • Draft and review legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and settlement agreements
  • Conduct legal research and provide insights on case development
  • Prepare for and participate in court appearances, trials, and hearings
  • Work directly with clients to communicate case progress and manage expectations
  • Participate in firm-wide meetings and contribute to the firm's legal strategy

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in complex litigation
  • Strong knowledge of Oregon law and litigation procedures
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Oregon

  • High proficiency in using legal research databases and case management software
  • Excellent oral advocacy and courtroom skills
