Location:

Duties:

  • Represent clients in real property litigation, including business and commercial litigation, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and commercial collection cases.
  • Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to clients on complex legal matters.
  • Prepare and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
  • Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution methods.
  • Appear in court hearings, trials, and depositions as needed.
  • Handle appellate work, if applicable.
  • Collaborate with team members and senior attorneys to ensure effective case management and client service.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of civil litigation experience, particularly in business and commercial litigation, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and commercial collection.
  • Experience in appellate work is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, advocacy, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
  • A self-motivated and client-focused approach to legal practice.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of commercial legal issues.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active bar license in Florida, in good standing.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of civil litigation procedures, particularly in real property and commercial law.
  • Proficient in legal research, writing, and case preparation.
  • Strong negotiation and settlement skills.
  • Ability to represent clients effectively in court and at hearings.
