Job Overview:
A growing law firm specializing in debt settlement and consumer law is seeking a dedicated Litigation Attorney to join its team in Scottsdale, AZ. This firm assists clients in negotiating fair debt settlements with creditors, including student loan lenders, credit card companies, mortgage holders, and others. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping clients navigate difficult financial circumstances and have experience managing high-volume workflows.

Location:

  • Scottsdale, Arizona

Duties:

  • Manage calendars and tasks to ensure deadlines are met.

  • Communicate effectively with clients and attorneys.

  • Maintain client records and report information in the Sugar system.

  • Collaborate with team members of all experience levels.

  • Conduct routine communications with clients regarding their cases.

  • Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports.

  • Handle other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

  • Admission to the Arizona State Bar and residence in Arizona.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.

  • Experience in prioritizing tasks and managing high-volume work.

  • Strong proofreading skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to interact professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and colleagues at all levels.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the Arizona State Bar.

Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to compose and edit legal documents and correspondence.

  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
