The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of employment law and a strong background in employment litigation, offering advice and counsel to clients on various employment matters. Duties:

  • Provide day-to-day employment and human resources counseling to clients
  • Review, analyze, and draft employment agreements, employee handbooks, severance agreements, and other related documents
  • Manage employment litigation, including non-compete disputes, single-plaintiff employment cases, and administrative matters
  • Take and defend depositions in employment-related litigation
  • Handle written discovery phases of litigation matters
  • Guide clients on sensitive personnel issues and assist in policy review and implementation
  • Assist in due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, focusing on employment provisions in asset and stock purchase agreements
  • Formulate legal strategies for litigation matters and support the team on additional tasks as necessary

Requirements:

  • 2-6 years of employment litigation and counseling experience
  • Experience in trial work is a plus
  • Strong writing and analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both with clients and colleagues
  • Superior time management abilities

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:
