Attorney needed for Fresno office

A law firm in Fresno, CA, is seeking an Attorney to conduct workplace, school, and Title IX investigations. The successful candidate will provide legal advice on labor and employment law to school, non-profit, and private-sector business clients. The role includes legal research, analysis, report writing, and other related duties. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication and customer service skills, organizational abilities, and experience with Microsoft Office applications. California State Bar licensure and a Juris Doctorate are required. Professional work experience of at least 1 year is required, with 3+ years preferred in a law firm setting.

Duties:

• Conduct workplace, school, and Title IX investigations, including remote interviews via Zoom, evidence review, and report writing.
• Provide legal advice on labor and employment law to school, non-profit, and private sector business clients.
• Perform legal research and analysis, preparing client memoranda and emails.
• Other related duties as assigned by management.

Experience:

1+ year of professional work experience is required; 3+ years are preferred in a law firm setting.

Education:

Juris Doctorate.

Certifications:

California State Bar licensure.
