Duties:

  • Review and execute legal documents and pleadings.
  • Draft legal documents and conduct in-depth legal research.
  • Represent clients in court hearings related to bankruptcy matters.
  • Provide updates to the firm and clients on jurisdiction-specific bankruptcy law changes.
  • Perform additional duties as needed, aligned with the firm's practice areas.

Requirements:

  • Active membership in good standing with the State Bars of Ohio and Kentucky.
  • Admission to practice in the Bankruptcy Courts of Ohio and Kentucky (Indiana admission is a plus).
  • Practical and efficient handling of complex legal issues.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, along with solid interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Bar membership in Ohio and Kentucky (Indiana is a plus).

Certifications:

  • Admission to state and bankruptcy courts in Ohio and Kentucky (Indiana is a bonus).

Skills:

  • Expertise in creditors' rights and bankruptcy law.
  • Strong legal drafting and research skills.
  • Proficiency in courtroom representation and client communication.
  • High adaptability, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced legal environment.
