Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm in Dallas, TX, is seeking a talented Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-4 years of experience to join their team. The role involves handling complex commercial litigation matters, including SEC investigations, M&A disputes, and tort litigation, while collaborating closely with senior attorneys and clients to develop and execute effective litigation strategies.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex commercial litigation matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs for filing in state and federal courts.
• Prepare for and conduct depositions of witnesses and experts.
• Assist with discovery, trial preparation, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Work closely with senior attorneys and clients to manage and prioritize a multi-matter docket effectively.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, lawyers, and business professionals.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with exceptional academic credentials.
• Admission to the Texas State Bar and in good standing.
• 3-4 years of experience in commercial litigation, preferably including SEC investigations, publicly traded companies, and M&A litigation.
• Previous experience in state court or federal clerkship is preferred.
• Strong background in legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to manage deadlines, expectations, and perform under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications (Preferred):

• Certification in Commercial Litigation or related field is a plus.
