Job Overview:
A law firm seeks a skilled and motivated Real Estate Associate with 2-5 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, real estate finance, joint ventures, and development. This is a hybrid role based in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage significant responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Duties:

Handle a variety of commercial real estate matters, such as acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and joint ventures.
Work on real estate development projects and support in negotiations and drafting of relevant documents.
Take responsibility for managing legal projects and working closely with clients.
Provide expert legal advice to clients in all stages of real estate transactions.
Collaborate with colleagues and clients to deliver effective solutions.
Ensure legal compliance and best practices are followed throughout the real estate transaction process.
Requirements:

2-5 years of experience in commercial real estate law, particularly in acquisitions, finance, and development.
Strong academic background, preferably from a top law school.
Experience at a large firm is preferred, but not required.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and a team player.
Admission to the Illinois Bar is preferred.
Education:

J.D. from an accredited law school.
Certifications:

Admission to the Illinois Bar preferred.
