Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney with at least 3 years of experience in civil litigation. The firm represents both individual and business clients in a variety of complex and high-stakes legal matters across state, federal, and administrative courts. Duties

• Represent clients in civil litigation, including state, federal, and administrative court cases
• Handle complex legal matters involving business disputes, political consequences, and public policy issues
• Draft and argue motions, including law and motion practice
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategy
• Manage discovery processes, including document review and depositions
• Work collaboratively with partners and other legal team members to deliver high-quality service
• Advocate for clients in court hearings, trials, and appellate proceedings
• Engage in trial preparation and hands-on participation in all aspects of litigation
• Maintain client relationships and ensure clear, consistent communication

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Experience with discovery and law and motion practice
• Ability to manage complex legal issues and think critically under pressure
• Confidence in verbal advocacy and court appearances
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and collaborating with a team

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in California (Required)

Certifications

• Active Bar License in the state of California (Required)
