Litigation Associate Attorney

A law firm seeks a skilled Litigation Associate to join its Litigation Practice Group in Portland, Maine. This position offers the opportunity to engage with a diverse range of litigation cases in a supportive and flexible environment.

Duties:

• Collaborate with clients throughout the litigation process to address complex legal challenges.
• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare well-crafted written documents.
• Participate in jury and non-jury trials, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure a seamless legal experience.
• Manage case files and maintain organized documentation.

Requirements:

• Some prior litigation experience is preferred.
• A judicial clerkship is advantageous.
• Strong research and writing capabilities.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Maine.
