Location:

Duties:

  • Handle cases from inception to resolution, including managing resources efficiently.

  • Take depositions and prepare witnesses for deposition.

  • Draft and respond to pleadings and motions, including discovery motions.

  • Attend hearings, depositions, mediations, client meetings, and negotiate settlements.

  • Provide expert legal counsel in the areas of construction law and commercial litigation.

  • Participate in and contribute to firm-wide legal strategy and case management.

Requirements:

  • Active member of the Florida Bar in good standing.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial litigation, with a preference for construction litigation experience.

  • Self-starter with strong goal orientation, focusing on long-term career development.

  • Strong communication and legal research skills.

  • Proven ability to handle cases from start to finish.

  • Experience with depositions, pleadings, motions, and other litigation-related tasks.

Education:
