Job Overview:

Location:

Duties:

  • Handle all aspects of healthcare-related litigation, including managed care disputes, False Claims Act matters, medical staff disputes, and administrative proceedings
  • Represent healthcare providers in civil and administrative proceedings, including matters related to licensure and Certificate of Need
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
  • Conduct legal research and provide analysis on complex healthcare law issues
  • Advise clients on compliance with healthcare regulations and laws
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients on strategies to resolve disputes
  • Assist in the preparation for trial and hearings

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in litigation, preferably with a focus on healthcare law
  • Knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations
  • Proven ability to manage complex litigation matters
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong research and analytical abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Top academic credentials (top 25% of class from a first-tier law school)

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the state bar (Georgia preferred) or eligibility to become licensed in Georgia

Skills:
