Duties:

  • Draft employment-related documents, including handbooks, policies, employment agreements, and severance agreements.
  • Provide risk management counsel to minimize legal exposure for businesses.
  • Prepare legal strategies and solutions in response to client challenges, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Represent clients in defending lawsuits and preparing for litigation.
  • Collaborate with business leadership to ensure prompt resolution of employment conflicts.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in employment law, with a focus on litigation.
  • Experience in transactional matters, such as drafting employment handbooks and agreements, is preferred but not required.
  • Licensed to practice law in California.
  • Strong legal writing and research skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to provide practical legal advice to clients.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active California Bar membership is required.
