The position offers a leadership opportunity within a high-performing team handling complex injury claims including catastrophic incidents, major orthopedic injuries, and wrongful death. The ideal candidate will guide junior legal professionals and collaborate with multiple operational groups to deliver optimal outcomes for clients.

Duties

• Oversee a large portfolio of personal injury cases in the pre-litigation phase

• Supervise and mentor a team of attorneys and case coordinators

• Engage clients with empathy while providing clear legal guidance

• Coordinate with internal departments, including medical treatment, negotiations, and liens

• Evaluate liability and insurance coverage issues based on case facts

• Maintain daily communication with clients about case progression and legal strategies

• Participate in settlement discussions to maximize client compensation

Requirements

• Active membership in the California State Bar

• Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in personal injury law, with a focus on pre-litigation

• Demonstrated leadership in managing teams or mentoring junior legal staff

• Proven ability to handle negotiations and resolve claims efficiently

• Fluent or conversational Spanish is considered advantageous

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
