Associate Attorney needed for Charlotte office

A law firm in Charlotte, NC, is seeking an Associate Attorney who is deeply committed to becoming an excellent federal courtroom attorney, writer, and counselor. The ideal candidate should possess a high sense of adventure, energy, and enthusiasm, along with a dedication to providing excellent client service and solving complex problems.

Duties:

• Handle federal courtroom litigation cases
• Conduct legal research and draft various legal documents, including briefs, motions, and memoranda
• Provide counsel to clients on legal matters
• Maintain close client contact and ensure excellent client service
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategies
• Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings
• Participate in case management and strategy meetings
• Take on high levels of responsibility and contribute to thought-provoking and meaningful work

Requirements:

• Must be licensed to practice law in North Carolina
• Preferably 3-5 years of legal experience
• Strong commitment to becoming an excellent federal courtroom attorney
• High sense of adventure and enthusiasm
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle complex legal issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the State Bar of North Carolina
