Associate Attorney needed for Wichita office

A law firm in Wichita, KS, is seeking an Associate Attorney for its hearings department. The successful candidate will have strong organizational, communication, and legal analysis skills. They will be responsible for preparing clients for administrative hearings, advocating for clients during hearings, and drafting administrative appeals to the Appeals Council.

Duties:

• Prepare clients for administrative hearings
• Advocate for clients at administrative hearings
• Draft administrative appeals to the Appeals Council

Requirements:

• Active attorney license
• Strong writing skills (required)
• Strong organizational skills (required)
• Background in Social Security Disability law or appellate work is helpful
• Must be a licensed attorney or soon-to-be licensed law school graduate

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
