Midlevel General M&A Associate Attorney

A law firm in Seattle, WA, is seeking a Midlevel General M&A Associate Attorney with 3+ years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and other significant business transactions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent academic credentials, strong transactional skills, and outstanding interpersonal abilities. Candidates must have an active State Bar license, excellent writing and drafting skills, a high level of attention to detail, and a proven track record of responsiveness and strong client relationship skills. Duties:

• Provide legal advice and support on mergers and acquisitions and other complex business transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents, including agreements, contracts, and memoranda.
• Conduct thorough due diligence and analyze financial, legal, and operational aspects of transactions.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth transaction processes and compliance with legal requirements.
• Manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Maintain strong client relationships and address client inquiries and concerns effectively.
• Stay current with developments in M&A law and market trends to provide informed legal counsel.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of law firm experience in mergers and acquisitions and other significant business transactions.
• Excellent academic credentials and transactional skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
• Active State Bar license in good standing.
• Excellent writing and drafting abilities.
• High level of attention to detail and responsiveness.
• Strong client relationship skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active State Bar license in good standing.
