Candidates must have an active State Bar license, excellent writing and drafting skills, a high level of attention to detail, and a proven track record of responsiveness and strong client relationship skills. The role requires a team player who can thrive in a collaborative environment.

Duties:

  • Provide legal advice and support on mergers and acquisitions and other complex business transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents, including agreements, contracts, and memoranda.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence and analyze financial, legal, and operational aspects of transactions.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth transaction processes and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and address client inquiries and concerns effectively.
  • Stay current with developments in M&A law and market trends to provide informed legal counsel.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of law firm experience in mergers and acquisitions and other significant business transactions.
  • Excellent academic credentials and transactional skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Active State Bar license in good standing.
  • Excellent writing and drafting abilities.
  • High level of attention to detail and responsiveness.
  • Strong client relationship skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active State Bar license in good standing.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex transaction documents.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
