Job Overview: A prominent personal injury law firm in Rolling Meadows, IL, is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team. The attorney will be responsible for managing various aspects of personal injury cases, including drafting legal documents, preparing cases for depositions and trials, and representing clients in court.

Location:

Duties:

  • Draft pleadings, motions, petitions, and orders for personal injury cases.
  • Prepare discovery requests, responses, subpoenas, and other legal documents.
  • Manage case files, including preparing them for depositions, trials, and hearings.
  • Assist in the preparation of expert witnesses for trials.
  • Attend depositions, arbitrations, and trials as required.
  • Represent clients during court appearances and hearings.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by partners.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Illinois Bar admission or plans to take the Illinois Bar exam in the near future.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Civil litigation experience preferred, but not required.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of the law firm.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications:

  • Illinois Bar License (preferred or plans to take the Illinois Bar exam soon).
