Job Overview: A law firm in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced corporate mergers and acquisitions private equity associate attorney to join its team. The successful candidate will have 4-6 years of mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactional experience gained in an Am Law firm setting.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis related to mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and corporate governance matters.
• Draft and review transactional documents, including merger, asset purchase, and shareholder agreements.
• Assist with due diligence investigations and manage data rooms.
• Participate in negotiations and communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on corporate transactional matters.
• Assist with general corporate matters and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactional experience in an Am Law firm.
• Excellent writing and analytical skills.
• Experience working in an Am Law 100 law firm.
• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida Bar.

Education:

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Florida Bar.
