Duties:

• Case Management: Handle a diverse caseload of insurance defense matters, including legal research, drafting pleadings, and preparing motions.
• Client Representation: Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations. Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates and address concerns.
• Legal Strategy: Develop and implement effective legal strategies tailored to client needs. Analyze complex legal issues and provide sound legal advice.
• Discovery Process: Manage all aspects of the discovery process, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, conducting depositions, and coordinating with expert witnesses.
• Negotiation: Engage in settlement negotiations with opposing counsel and insurance adjusters to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.

Requirements:

• Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensure: Must be licensed to practice law in Missouri.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in insurance defense with a proven track record of successful case outcomes.
