Duties:

  • Prepare, analyze, and negotiate intricate legal agreements such as those involved in mergers, acquisitions, and commercial real estate

  • Conduct thorough due diligence reviews to identify risks and safeguard client interests

  • Offer strategic legal insights and practical advice related to business structuring and transactional planning

  • Work closely with colleagues to align deal mechanics and legal solutions

  • Remain informed on relevant legislative and industry developments affecting business transactions

  • Contribute to a team-based, client-focused legal practice with an emphasis on results and professionalism

  • Manage competing deadlines while maintaining attention to detail across multiple projects

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of focused legal experience handling transactional matters

  • Active license to practice law in Idaho, in good standing with the State Bar

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively function in a fully remote role

  • Experience supporting clients in the Northwestern U.S. preferred (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Utah, Nevada, or Wyoming)

  • Strong time management and ability to meet billable targets

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Idaho State Bar (mandatory)

Skills:

  • Advanced contract drafting and negotiation techniques

  • Excellent written and spoken communication abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint

  • Skilled in utilizing legal research platforms such as Westlaw

  • Familiar with electronic court filing systems including court and PACER

  • Adaptability and professionalism in remote client interactions

  • Commitment to high-quality legal service delivery and collaborative work environment
