A law firm seeks a seasoned Employment Litigation Attorney to join its Labor and Employment Practice in Cherry Hill, NJ. The role involves representing clients in employment-related disputes, focusing on plaintiff-side litigation. This position offers the opportunity to work on impactful cases and build meaningful client relationships in a collaborative environment.

Duties

  • Represent individual clients in employment and labor law matters, including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and retaliation claims.
  • Handle all stages of litigation, including pre-trial motions, discovery, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings.
  • Manage cases independently and work closely with clients to provide strategic legal counsel.
  • Maintain strong professional relationships and deliver exceptional service to clients.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court documents.
  • Attend mediations, depositions, hearings, and trials as necessary.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in employment litigation, with at least 4 cases tried to verdict.
  • Strong background in plaintiff-side employment law, including familiarity with state and federal employment statutes.
  • Licensed to practice law in New Jersey; Pennsylvania licensure is a plus.
  • Currently in good standing with the New Jersey State Bar.
  • A professional record free from disciplinary actions or negligence claims.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the New Jersey State Bar; Pennsylvania Bar admission is advantageous.
