Location

Duties

  • Manage a full caseload, including client consultations, discovery, depositions, mediations, and motion practice
  • Handle hearings, trials, and courtroom appearances
  • Provide strategic advice and guidance to clients through every stage of the case
  • Collaborate with fellow attorneys to discuss case strategies and personal development
  • Assist in developing and growing the firm’s family law practice
  • Contribute to the firm’s continued success and reputation in the community
  • Meet regularly with other attorneys to discuss case progress, skills development, and business strategies
  • Utilize the support staff provided by the firm to manage case-related tasks efficiently

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in family law (criminal defense experience is a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent work ethic, and meticulous case management skills
  • Proven courtroom experience and comfort handling trials
  • Ability to manage a case docket independently
  • Strong desire for professional growth and success within the firm
  • Flexible to work from any of the firm’s offices (Angleton, Pearland, or League City, Texas)

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Must be licensed to practice law in Texas

Skills

  • Expertise in family law, including divorce, child custody, and support matters
  • Strong litigation and trial experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
