Job Overview:
A law firm seeks an experienced trial attorney with a strong background in civil litigation to join its team in Glendora, CA. This role involves handling landlord-tenant disputes, including litigation, administrative hearings, and appellate work. Duties:

  • Represent clients in landlord-tenant disputes, including commercial, residential, retail, office, and industrial matters.

  • Initiate and defend Unlawful Detainer actions.

  • Manage pre-trial litigation, including discovery, motions, and hearings.

  • Conduct bench and jury trials as lead counsel.

  • Handle appellate work at both the Appellate Division and the Court of Appeals.

  • Advocate for clients in administrative hearings.

  • Provide strategic legal counsel to clients regarding landlord-tenant law and dispute resolution.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a trial attorney in civil litigation.

  • Strong litigation background, including significant trial experience.

  • Ability to manage a high volume of cases efficiently and effectively.

  • Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.

  • Strong legal research and analytical abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative legal team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

  • Admission to the state bar.
