Labor & Employment Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
An exciting opportunity for an Associate Attorney to join a distinguished law firm specializing in Labor & Employment. The position will support the firm's litigation, class action defense, restrictive covenant/trade secret litigation, and advisory practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in legal research and writing, as well as the ability to handle direct client contact and collaborate in a team-oriented environment. Location:

• Minneapolis, MN

Duties:

• Support litigation in labor and employment matters, including class action defense and restrictive covenant/trade secret litigation
• Provide legal advice to clients on labor and employment issues
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda, briefs, and motions
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies
• Maintain direct client contact and build client relationships
• Assist with preparing and responding to discovery requests
• Attend hearings, depositions, and trials as necessary

Requirements:

• Must be admitted to practice in Minnesota or eligible for admission
• Clerkship or at least one year of labor and employment advisory and/or litigation experience preferred
• Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Experience with class action or complex litigation matters is a plus
• Admission to practice in California is a bonus

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Minnesota Bar (or eligibility)

Skills:

• Advanced legal research and writing abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with complex litigation and class action defense is a plus
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
