A law firm seeks a Mid-Level Debt Finance Associate Attorney for their Seattle, WA, office.

Job Overview:

The Mid-Level Debt Finance Associate Attorney will manage upmarket bilateral, syndicated, and sponsor-backed deals for banks and private credit funds. They will draft and negotiate financing agreements, conduct due diligence reviews, and provide legal advice to clients regarding debt financing transactions.

Job Duties:

  • Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties verbally and in writing.
  • Produce high-quality deliverables, answer phone calls, and respond to correspondence promptly.
  • Ensure timely completion of tasks and deliver accurate work products.
  • Manage deadlines, meet expectations, and perform required duties diligently.
  • Foster positive relationships within the firm and with external stakeholders.
  • Adhere to firm policies and practices, maintaining high ethical standards.
  • Engage in physical and sedentary activities, including extensive computer work, virtual conference calls, and in-person meetings as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience handling upmarket bilateral, syndicated, and sponsor-backed deals for banks and private credit funds.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated business judgment and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a team environment.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in research and problem-solving.
  • Conceptual thinking and ability to influence others effectively.
  • Persuasive communication abilities and management skills.
  • JD degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bar Admission in any US jurisdiction is required; admission to practice in Washington State is preferred.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bar Admission in any US jurisdiction is required; Washington State Bar Admission is preferred.
