A law firm in Fort Lauderdale, FL, is actively seeking a Mid-level Antitrust and Class Action Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in antitrust and class action defense litigation. The ideal candidate should possess significant experience with Federal Court litigation. Exceptional research, writing, and communication skills, coupled with an excellent academic background, are essential. Bar admission is required for the jurisdiction of practice.

 

Duties:

  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis related to antitrust and class action defense litigation matters.
  • Draft and prepare various legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related materials.
  • Assist in the development of case strategies and participate in case management.
  • Handle discovery requests and responses, including document review and production.
  • Represent clients in hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and other legal proceedings.
  • Maintain organized case files and documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with clients, colleagues, and external parties involved in the litigation process.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar or eligibility for admission through reciprocity or examination.
  • 3-5 years of experience working on antitrust and class action defense litigation.
  • Preferred significant experience with Federal Court litigation.
  • Strong academic background with a focus on litigation-related coursework.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the Florida Bar or eligibility for admission through reciprocity or examination.
