Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of insurance litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on insurance coverage issues and provide written and oral opinions to clients.
• Assist in depositions, hearings, and trials related to insurance disputes.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex insurance matters.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida State Bar or eligibility for admission by waiver.
• 2-6 years of experience in insurance litigation, specifically property and casualty insurance.
• Strong understanding of insurance coverage issues; experience with bad faith insurance issues preferred.
• Excellent academic credentials with demonstrated writing skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
• Experience with federal clerkship or state appellate clerkship is a plus.
