Appearance Attorney

Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking an experienced Appearance Attorney to handle foreclosure-related appearances in multiple counties across New York. The role involves preparing for and attending court hearings, conferences, and motion hearings. Location:

• New York City, NY.

Duties:

• Review loan documents to identify missing items and issues that need to be addressed with clients.
• Communicate with clients, referees, and adversaries in a professional manner.
• Organize and prepare for court appearances, including foreclosure and settlement conferences, as well as motion hearings.
• Prepare summaries of hearings and provide timely updates on results.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Must be licensed to practice law in New York.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Motivated self-starter with a flexible and personable attitude.
• Must possess good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• A vehicle or reliable means of transportation is required.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• New York State Bar license required.
