Job Overview:

A distinguished law firm is seeking a highly skilled Personal Injury Associate Attorney with over 5 years of experience to join its hybrid team in Stamford, CT. This role involves litigating personal injury cases, including automobile and premises liability claims, while working closely with clients and partners to develop strong factual and medical evidence for injury claims. The position offers the flexibility of a hybrid work environment, combining both remote and in-person work.

Location:

Duties:

  • Litigate personal injury cases, including automobile and premises liability cases, in Connecticut
  • Collaborate with clients, legal team, and partners to build strong factual and medical evidence
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery, and file them in Connecticut state courts
  • Conduct legal research and present discovery motions in State and Federal courts
  • Manage the court approval process for wrongful death and minor cases
  • Prepare cases for litigation, pre-litigation, and settlement
  • Ensure the timely filing of pleadings, service of process, and meet statute of limitation deadlines

Requirements:

  • Admitted to the Connecticut Bar
  • Minimum of 5 years of personal injury litigation experience
  • Team player with a collaborative approach to working with colleagues
  • Compassionate and client-focused attitude, aligning with the firm's values
  • Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a high comfort level with technology
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities

Education:
