Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel on federal tax issues related to mergers, acquisitions, and corporate structuring.
  • Assist with entity formation, including advising on the selection of business structures.
  • Draft and negotiate partnership agreements and other tax-related business contracts.
  • Conduct thorough research on tax regulations and their impact on business transactions.
  • Collaborate with corporate, healthcare, and other practice groups on transactional matters.
  • Stay updated on evolving tax laws to ensure compliance and optimal tax strategies for clients.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in federal transactional tax law.
  • Strong background in M&A, business structuring, and entity formation.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating partnership agreements is a plus.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
