A law firm in Minneapolis, MN, is seeking an Associate Attorney with 4+ years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, commercial contract drafting, and related business matters. The ideal candidate will have technology transaction experience, strong academic credentials, and superior drafting and research skills.

Duties:

• Handle mergers and acquisitions transactions, including drafting and negotiating transaction documents.
• Draft and review commercial contracts and agreements.
• Provide legal counsel on related business matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on technology transactions.
• Negotiate important transaction documents with clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to achieve transaction objectives.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Support and mentor junior associates as needed.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, commercial contract drafting, and related business matters.
• Admission to, or eligibility for admission to, the Minnesota Bar.
• Strong academic background from a reputable institution.
• Superior drafting and research skills.
• Experience negotiating important transaction documents.
• Diligent, detail-oriented, proactive, and team-oriented approach.
• Personable with excellent interpersonal skills.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
