Briefing and Research Attorney

A law firm seeks a dedicated Briefing and Research Attorney to join its team in Irving, TX. This role is ideal for a motivated attorney looking to advance their career by assisting trial attorneys in the preparation of personal injury cases. Duties

• Assist trial attorneys with the preparation of personal injury cases by conducting legal research.
• Draft discovery requests and responses, pleadings, motions, and responses to motions.
• Prepare for depositions and assist trial attorneys during trial proceedings.
• Learn and implement effective strategies for the development of plaintiff personal injury cases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support case management and client service.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and in good standing.
• 0 to 3 years of experience in personal injury law is preferred.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Experience in customer service or sales, including after-hours on-call responsibilities, is a plus.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited institution.

Certifications

• Active Texas Bar license.
