Senior Employment Law Associate Attorney

A law firm in Fairfield, NJ, is seeking a Senior Employment Law Associate Attorney to manage all aspects of clients’ matters, including designing policies, negotiating agreements, drafting pleadings, arguing motions, mediating cases, and preparing for hearings and trials. The ideal candidate will provide sound and practical employment law advice and have experience managing employment law matters in New Jersey.

Duties:

• Manage all aspects of clients’ matters, including designing policies, procedures, and strategies.
• Provide sound and practical employment law advice.
• Draft letters, employee handbooks, and pleadings.
• Negotiate and mediate resolutions to disputes.
• Conduct discovery.
• Write legal briefs.
• Argue motions in court.
• Prepare for and attend hearings and trials.

Requirements:

• Active member of the New Jersey Bar (New York Bar preferred).
• Experience skillfully managing employment law matters in New Jersey (New York preferred) for both employers and employees.
• Strong negotiation and mediation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Active membership in the New Jersey Bar (New York Bar preferred).

Experience:

Experience managing employment law matters in New Jersey (New York preferred) for both employers and employees.
