A law firm in Los Angeles is seeking a Mid-Level Associate Attorney with 3-4 years of experience to join their Real Estate practice. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in handling a broad range of sophisticated real estate transactions, including real estate M&A and private equity transactions.

 

Duties:

  • Manage and contribute to a variety of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, syndicated and other loan financings, joint ventures, co-investments, sales/leasebacks, leasing, recapitalizations, restructurings, fund formation, and development.
  • Provide legal support throughout the transactional process, ensuring compliance with legal standards and client objectives.
  • Draft and review transactional documents, including contracts, agreements, and financing documents.
  • Conduct due diligence and legal research on real estate matters.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and other legal professionals.
  • Offer strategic advice and contribute to the development of innovative legal solutions.

 

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience in real estate law.
  • Proven track record of working on a broad range of sophisticated real estate transactions.
  • Strong understanding of real estate M&A and private equity transactions.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the relevant State Bar.

 

Skills:

  • Proficient in handling various real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and leasing.
  • Excellent drafting and reviewing skills for transactional documents.
  • Thorough understanding of real estate M&A and private equity.
  • Strong legal research capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
