Job Overview: A law firm in Valdosta, GA, is seeking a dedicated Litigating Personal Injury Attorney to manage and oversee all aspects of personal injury cases. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of Florida Personal Injury law, and the ability to handle a substantial caseload while providing exceptional client service.

Job Duties:

• Evaluate the merits of personal injury cases and provide clients with insightful guidance and counsel.
• Conduct thorough medical reviews and collaborate with medical experts as needed.
• Negotiate and settle cases effectively, striving to achieve optimal client outcomes.
• Develop litigation strategies, including conducting discovery, drafting pleadings, and preparing for trials.
• Open new case files, maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with legal deadlines.
• Interact compassionately and effectively with clients, offering support during challenging times.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of Georgia; Florida Bar admission is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience practicing as a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney.
• Trial experience preferred but not required.
• Strong leadership skills to manage and lead legal teams effectively.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous.
• Deep understanding of Florida Personal Injury law and relevant legal precedents.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
