A law firm in Norwalk, CT, is seeking an Attorney with a solid understanding of Connecticut civil litigation procedures and practice. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience across diverse areas, including Probate court conservatorship hearings, Trust and Probate litigation, and Personal Injury Litigation. A strong work ethic, inquisitive nature, and exceptional organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in Probate court conservatorship hearings and other related proceedings.
  • Draft and prepare motions, memoranda, and pleadings for various litigation matters.
  • Conduct legal research to support case strategies and client advisories.
  • Assist in trust and probate litigation, including bench trials and administrative appeals.
  • Manage case files and ensure timely completion of all legal documentation.
  • Engage in debt collection proceedings and represent clients in negotiations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and manage expectations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategies for complex legal issues.
  • Stay informed about changes in relevant laws and litigation practices.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice law in Connecticut; New York admission is a plus.
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience in civil litigation and related practice areas.

Certifications:

  • Active member in good standing with the Connecticut State Bar Association.
